Calling On All Ideas!

Time after time many of us have ideas where we believe that we can make millions of dollars, or perhaps save unfortunate people in the world. This section is catered to people who would like to share their ideas. Certainly there are many people that caution others who are imaginative, that if they are not careful, their idea is likely to be stolen. This could not be further from the truth. Let's look at this in a positive light. The idea that you may share may be so powerful that the groups of other people that may be willing to assist you in making your idea become a reality.

Problem: Too many kids in today's society are hooked on senseless, ultraviolent and mindless video games.

Solution: Gather a group of people who desire to collaborate their skills and expertise to enhance the learning potential for children.

As many parents know, many children spend hours at a time pressing buttons, clicking buttons and controlling joysticks in order to keep their virtual world alive. Those that are familiar with such platforms like PlayStation three, Xbox and the Wii understand that these games represent a multi-billion dollar industry. Since this is fact, why not cash in on the development of educational software that is just as fun and exciting as those mindless and senseless games that are now on the store shelves.

Who are some of the people that we would need to make this happen? This idea would most likely require those that are familiar with technology programming, teaching, marketing, relationship networking, and script writers. Development of such educational software that would be considered as fun and exciting as many of the action-packed video games, would lead developers to eventually shift some of their focus to supporting more educational software for these game platforms.

Games could be centered around geography, science, mathematics and word games. Too many kids are lacking basic and necessary skills. Many kids today can be found to be speaking broken English, lack basic skills in math and science or find it very difficult to find their own country on a globe. Now is the time to make a difference.

This idea shared in this section of the Spoonful of Knowledge Series will be extended in weeks to come. Eventually, we will follow up with authoritarians that may be able to shed more light on facts that may help you get started. A section has been created in the forum for you to discuss this idea more in depth.

The graphics of these games are so incredibly detailed that is almost difficult to tell the difference between a real person and a computer-generated person. However looking at many of these games, I have found that most of them are senseless, ultra violent and in no way enhance the mind of individuals playing the games. If the right group of people decide to get together and with the right kind of script, creators/developers will prosper.

The reason that video games are so popular is that they are constantly moving objects across the screen. For those that are a little bit older in today's society, you may agree with me that children of today in most cases do not like to read. And this is not only for children but you will find also that many adults are the same way. When you were younger, you are instructed to either read a book or read a newspaper for school, for work or in your every day feelings. Not today. Thus, now is the time to relate to the generation at hand. What better way to communicate to children than relating to them through a medium they can not get their eyes away from?

Remember, this is not to say that this idea is original, but an idea that requests a lot of energy and will be very rewarding for those that choose to take advantage of it. Send us your comments or e-mails with ideas. Sharing them with others on this site may bring a tremendous reward to you in the future.
