Ideas of the Imagination
Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 04:09PM From time to time I like to speak about the spiritual nature of things. I have read the King James version of the bible a number of times from cover to cover as well as the Koran, the Aporaphya and other publications and I am always in search of more. I believe most religions have some validity to them, and I choose not to discriminate against anyone’s belief. After doing extensive research and reading the works of different authors, I have been impressed by a few of them. This portion of the blog will talk about a spiritual energy within every man and woman. It is the spiritual energy that in some cases is working for a person, or in other cases, needs to be awaken.
The power of the human imagination is a spiritual component that no one should overlook. You want to improve yourself, well we need to discuss this wonderful thing. Is anyone familiar with Neville Goddard by any chance? He was a Barbados born lecturer that constantly preached about the human imagination.
Lets discuss if you heard of him.
Ideas
For many years I have listened to people that spoke about writing a book with a particular story in mind. Others would tell me that they had an idea for a particular business or invention. However each time I would ask them to tell me what the idea was, they would button the lip because they claimed that someone might steal their idea.
In most cases, there is nothing new under the sun. Many times an idea has already been thought of and/or implemented. As to how far the idea was carried is not always known. My opinion is that if you truly want to re-invent yourself or help someone else re-invent themselves, then you need to share your ideas.
Most people don't realize that for instance, those that have an idea for a book may in fact have a great idea, but have no idea how to implement it. Many people have not written a book before in their life, and the truth of the matter, the writing of the book is just as hard as promoting it to a target audience. So if they have written the book, then they are stuck with now what? If they haven't written the book, they may need some serious help in content, structure or just identifying a target audience. If they keep all of their ideas to themselves, then they most likely will never get ahead.
Ideas are meant to be shared, unless you are doing something top secret for the government. Most people don't have the time, energy or knowledge to take your idea to the next level. If you created it in your imagination, then be confident that it may just be meant to be an idea just for you.
Here, I want you to share your ideas and let it grow its own wings. You will be surprised at how many people support you and look for you to succeed. Then again, your idea may not be of interest to anyone, forcing you to reconsider your thought for that type of book or business.
If there is an idea that begins to take off with a lot of interest, I will create a separate page for that idea to germinate from the comments. Some people will give you valuable advice on how to proceed, and others will perhaps just make general comments that may or may not be of any use.
Consider this your startup page before you even try to take on that new found mental idea and try to carry it out one your own. Post an idea below.
